Collection and Use of Information
To provide a better user experience, we may ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information while using our services. Any information we request is retained by us and used in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1) Information you provide
Your mobile phone number, email address, and the identity and banking information required for identity verification (KYC) under Section 3.3 of these terms. This information is used solely to provide the service and to meet legal requirements, and is never transmitted to any analytics or advertising service.
2) Analytics and measurement information
The Kifpool application and website use the following analytics tools to understand how the service is used, to diagnose technical problems, to improve the user experience, and to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns:
- Google Analytics for Firebase (GA4) — provided by Google
- Zebline — user behavior analytics, hosted in Iran
- AdTrace — install attribution and advertising measurement, mobile application only, hosted in Iran
Information sent to these services:
- An anonymous, non-reversible (opaque) user identifier — not your phone number and not your national ID
- Your identity verification level (with no documents or identity data attached) and whether you signed up through a referral code
- Usage events: sign-up, login, entering guest mode, verification approval, viewing and completing rial and crypto deposits, gift card purchases, rial and crypto withdrawals, executing trades, staking requests, and viewing a coin's page
- Attributes accompanying those events: coin symbol, market type, order type and side, deposit method, and withdrawal type
- Which screens of the app you view
- Technical device information: device model, operating system version, application version, IP address, language, and time zone
- Your device's advertising identifier (see Section 3)
- Your device push notification token, used to deliver notifications and to measure uninstalls
- Information that is never sent: The rial or crypto amount of any transaction, your wallet balance, your raw phone number, email address, national ID, card or IBAN number, cryptocurrency wallet addresses, identity documents, passwords, and private keys — none of these are transmitted to the analytics services above under any circumstances.
3) Device advertising identifier
The Kifpool Android application uses the com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID permission and accesses the Google Advertising ID (GAID). On iOS, if you grant permission through the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt, we access the IDFA.
This identifier is used solely to attribute app installs to the corresponding advertising campaign, to prevent advertising fraud, and to measure advertising effectiveness. Kifpool does not use this identifier to serve personalized advertising, and does not sell or transfer it to third-party advertising networks.
Your control: On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID via Settings → Google → Ads. On iOS you can select "Ask App Not to Track" when the ATT prompt appears, or disable it later via Settings → Privacy → Tracking. Doing so stops advertising attribution; all other parts of the app continue to work unchanged.
4) Log Data
Whenever you use our services — and not only when an error occurs — information called Log Data is collected through third-party products. This may include your device's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, application configuration at the time of use, the time and date of your use of the services, and other statistics. If an error occurs in the application, technical information about that error is also recorded for debugging purposes.
5) Sharing information with third parties
The analytics information described above is shared with the following service providers so that they can provide their services to us: Google (Firebase / Google Analytics and Firebase Cloud Messaging), Zebline, and AdTrace. These companies process the information only on our instructions and only to provide that service.
Kifpool does not sell users' personal information and does not rent it to third parties for advertising purposes. Disclosure occurs only: (a) with your consent; (b) in response to a legal requirement or an order from the judicial or law enforcement authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran; or (c) in the course of meeting anti-money-laundering obligations under Section 7.5 of these terms.
6) Data retention and deletion
Analytics data is retained for as long as necessary to analyze product trends, up to a maximum of [14 months — confirm in panel], after which it is automatically deleted or aggregated. Identity and financial information is retained in accordance with the legal requirements applicable to cryptocurrency businesses in Iran. 7) Use by minors
Kifpool's services are provided only to individuals aged 18 and over (Section 2.1). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we become aware of such a case, the relevant information will be deleted and the account suspended.
